Honor Knowledge Park’s History This Labor Day

Before Knowledge Park’s inception was one of the nation’s largest textile finishing plants. This weekend, we honor Knowledge Park’s history by stocking Americana as a nod to our local history.

The buildings that make up Knowledge Park are locally known as “The Bleachery”; established as the Rock Hill Printing and Distributing Company, this company employed nearly 5,000 workers and often printed American flags.

The six buildings and four structures that comprised the Rock Hill Printing and Finishing Company are the basis of the new development, Knowledge Park.
