What exactly is a legacy letter?

A legacy letter, otherwise known as an Ethical Will, is a meaningful document that shares your stories, lessons, values, hope and wishes with your loved ones and future generations. Think of it this way, a last will and testament is a legal document that handles assets and property distribution. A legacy letter/ ethical will shares your personal stories, values, wishes and hopes for your loved ones and future generations. It’s a way to pass on what matters most –your legacy.

Ethical wills / legacy letters are often overlooked within the traditional estate planning process. It is my mission to change this by encouraging, educating, and supporting clients to create their heartfelt legacy letter and include it with their estate plans.

In this workshop we will:

· Learn about Legacy Letters (ethical wills)

· Discuss the timing, structure and different writing techniques.

· We will write (pen and paper provided)

· We will share (only of you want)

· We might even shed some tears (Kleenex provided)

· We will hold space for one another.

· We will breathe, move and maybe even do a little guided visualization.

It is my hope this workshop will provide you with:

· A good understanding of Legacy letters and their importance to your end of life / estate planning

· Get the creative juices flowing!

· Help your confidence and momentum….. you will have some great writing prompts to dig into

· A process to create and complete your legacy letter

· Inspiration for today

· Peace of mind for tomorrow knowing what you will pass on to your loved ones.

I have designed this workshop to be personal. Space is limited to 20. This is a community offering and no charge to attend.
