Calling all dry January folks! On January 9th, we will be hosting a Non-alcoholic & D9 drink tasting! From D9 drinks, to NA beers, to mocktails, we will be offering six tastings, which you can pick from! This event is to show the type of drinks you can enjoy while participating in Dry January. It also emphasizes that Non-alcoholic & D9 drinks can taste just as good as alcoholic ones.
But what are these lovely drink alternatives you may be asking? We’re here to explain it all!
What are non-alcoholic drinks?
Simply put, they are drinks with zero alcohol or 0.5% abv. But you might be thinking, how is that considered non alcoholic? In Europe, America, New Zealand and many more countries, 0.5% is classified as alcohol-free. Even after 10 pints, it’s impossible for this amount of alcohol to raise your BAC. So you don’t run the risk of getting any buzz!
Looking for a buzz that won’t leave you feeling awful the next morning? That’s where D9 drinks come in!
What are D9 drinks?
Delta 9 drinks, also known as “drinkables,” are beverages infused with delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC. Yes, you can buy and consume D9 drinks even in SC. As long as the product is hemp-derived and adheres to the federally approved levels of THC (0.3% by dry weight).

Ashlea Sovetts is our bar manager, and is a certified wine educator through the Wine and Spirits Education Trust (WSET, United Kingdom)
