Twilight Turnup: Athena Alliance CLT x Black Fae Day

October 30 @ 11:00 am - 9:00 pm

Athena Alliance CLT and Black Fae Day Presents: Twilight Turnup

Twilight Turnup is an event by The Athena Alliance CLT in collaboration with Black Fae Day to support Black, Indigenous, and People of Color in the Arts, and Support Safe Spaces in Gaming and Fantasy.

Come one! Come all. Whether you are a Deity of Gods and Goddesses or a Fae from a fantasy realm, we would like to welcome you to come to gather and mingle with us at The Twilight Turnup.

Come join us for a magical day in Rock Hill, SC!  Begin the day in the spectacular splendor that is Crystal Ballroom, enjoy the afternoon at The Mercantile, and end the day at the beautiful Fountain Park located in the heart of Old Town Rock Hill.

List of Events

11AM-3PM: Crystal Ballroom

Come join us for brunch or lunch, games, music, and photos in the spectacular surroundings of the ballroom and reception areas.

3PM-6PM: The Mercantile

Come and explore a staple of Old Town Rock Hill with this inclusive shop. We’ll have a game truck provided by Pixel. Play Games, enjoy vendors, and frolic and mingle outdoors on the patio.

6PM-9PM: Rock Hill Fountain Park

Come join us for field games, and a march around the fountain park with sparklers and chalk to show off your artistic skills. It will be magical and we will be taking photos with everyone, as well as providing performances highlighting the BIPOC community.

The Athena Alliance

Who We Are:

An all-female run gaming organization with a collective of women gamers and allies. We focus on public and digital events like game nights, community outreach, and charity drives.

What We Do:

Our first public event was January 18th, 2020, and since then we have held a variety of local events, digital panels, and convention appearances. We provide services from content creation, public events, marketing, consultation, live streams, and tournaments.

Why We Exist:

Spaces that highlight and empower women in gaming and gamers that create content are very few and marginalized. We’ve created a supportive group of women who share a passion for gaming and have built our network around these women. Because the women in the space of gaming are so marginalized and disparate, it provides a unique opportunity for growth, interaction, mentorship, and viewership.
