Plant Box Building Workshop

What you will learn and/or make in the class
Join us for an awesome collaborative workshop with Downtown Artistry and Nailed It DIY! Each participant will build a 5×5 plant box from wood and paint the color of their choice. Stencil options will be available if desired. Beginners class; all supplies, tools and instructions will be provided. Participants will then be given a plant to add to their plant box!
Aprons will be provided, but don’t wear your best shirt just in case!
Cost: $50
Why should you attend the class
This workshop will guide you through the process of building a box, using various tools and finishing techniques to create your own unique piece! And you get to use POWER TOOLS! After you build, get in touch with your green thumb as Katherine Petke walks you through the process of planting in your new box! This awesome collaborative workshop will be supporting three downtown businesses, you won’t want to miss out on this!

Join us for this awesome collaborative workshop taught by Kay Click, the owner of Nailed It DIY Studio in downtown Rock Hill and Katherine Petke, the owner of Downtown artistry.
About this experience
You and your friends will enjoy a fun evening of crafting and socializing. Our Workshops are lead by local artisans with a passion for sharing their craft and creating an enjoyable group dynamic. All participants will receive one hour of private shopping outside of our normal business hours to browse all the incredible products in our retail space. Each workshop is about 1 and a half hours long. Prices vary per class. Participants over the age of 21 will be offered one glass of wine and a snack.
Things to keep in mind
Great news! Beer and wine are available for purchase. Customers are welcome to BYOB, however, a corking fee of $8 will be charged. We can’t wait to meet you and your group!
Classes start promptly at their scheduled time. Please be sure to arrive about 10 minutes before your class time. In order to create a fantastic experience for all scheduled guests, late attendees will have to pick up where the group is. Please call the store if you are running behind.
If you don’t appear for your reservation or cancel within 48 hours of the reservation time it is nonrefundable.
