Afternoon Tea with Mama Crumpets

What you will learn and/or make in the class
Shop attendees will leave with their own hand-prepared tea bag, a tea Infuser, the knowledge of how to properly steep their tea for maximum taste and enjoyment, and memories of a wonderful afternoon tea experience. Through the use of a variety of teas and exercises, attendees will learn a brief history of tea, how to properly prepare and enjoy it and make a hand-picked, take-home tea blend and a custom infuser.

Afternoon Tea is not only a time-honored tradition, it’s also a chance to share an experience with friends as much as a hot cup of tea fills our soul with delight. This workshop experience seeks to teach our guests to enjoy.

Kaylan Brown is the founder of Mama Crumpet’s, a local startup built on the desire to provide a tea experience that can be shared with friends and remembered for a lifetime.
About this experience
You and your friends will enjoy a fun evening of crafting and socializing. Our Workshops are lead by local artisans with a passion for sharing their craft and creating an enjoyable group dynamic. All participants will have the opportunity to browse all the incredible products in our retail space. Each workshop is about 1 and a half hours long. Prices vary per class. Participants over the age of 21 will be offered one glass of wine.
Things to keep in mind
Great news! Beer and wine are available for purchase. Customers are welcome to BYOB, however, a corking fee of $8 will be charged. We can’t wait to meet you and your group!
Classes start promptly at their scheduled time. Please be sure to arrive about 10 minutes before your class time. In order to create a fantastic experience for all scheduled guests, late attendees will have to pick up where the group is. Please call the store if you are running behind.
If you don’t appear for your reservation or cancel within 48 hours of the reservation time it is nonrefundable.

A smile, a pleasant attitude, and the desire to be seeped in a cultural experience like no other. And… if you want to bring your own favorite fancy hat you can. Hats will be available to wear if you don’t have your own.
